The CBS star wed his longtime partner in New York City's Soho Grand Hotel on Saturday, five years after their London civil ceremony.

Alan Cumming, who portrays perennially single political strategist Eli Gold on CBS' The Good Wife, is coupled-up in real life, for the long haul.

Cumming married his longtime partner, Grant Shaffer, in New York City's Soho Grand Hotel on Saturday, the actor announced on Twitter, noting it was the fifth-anniversary of the couple's civil union in London.

"On the 5th anniversary of our wedding in London grant and I tied the knot again in NYC!!!" he said, adding the cheeky hashtag "eatmericksantorum."

Cumming tweeted a photo of the two embracing atop a bar at the hotel as well as another shot of their dog, Leon, sporting a "wedding present" of a fur coat.

In June, New York became the sixth state to legalize gay marriage, with many East Coast celebrities -- Michael Kors and Isaac Mizrahi, to name a couple -- exchanging vows afterward.

Cumming's representative did not immediately respond to THR's request for comment.

The Scottish actor has been twice nominated for an Emmy Award for his Good Wife role. His big-screen credits include Circle of Friends and the Spy Kids movies, and his TV appearances include parts on Sex and the City, The L Word and Web Therapy.
