'Gossip Girl's' Ed Westwick Film 'Chalet Girl' to Premiere on SundanceNow

The British comedy will be available online and VOD on Sept. 9, before its theatrical release on Oct. 14.

In a change of pace, Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick will play a nice guy in his upcoming film, Chalet Girl.

The British comedy will be available on SundanceNOW.com and on VOD via Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner, and Bright House on September 9, before its theatrical release on October 14.

STORY: Ed Westwick Hints He'll Leave 'Gossip Girl'

Westwick stars as Jonny, the boss at an upperclass ski resort in the Alps. He catches the eye of a Kim (Felicity Jones), a skateboarder who moved to the Alps to work as a chalet girl. Kim teachers herself how to snowboard and enters herself in a competition in an effort to fit in to her new surroundings.

Bill Bailey, Brooke Shields and Bill Nighy also star in the Paramount film.
