"I've learned as a songwriter that, with my fun songs, I don't know how to breathe. It's like, dear Lord, add a breath in here."

In a Hollywood Reporter exclusive video, recent Grammy-nominated country singer Eric Paslay explains his new "fun" single 'High Class.'

'High Class'' lyrics sing of trading in a normal night for going out in high class style:

Keepin' my shades on inside
All dressed in black
Escalade me some casies
Yeah baby Cadi up this lac
We ain’t on the list
But we on the list
When you look like this
And you walk like that
Skip the line baby
Don’t look back
Tonight we high class
Yeah, tonight we high class
(High class) Hey-Hey

"I've learned as a songwriter that, with my fun songs, I don't know how to breathe. It's like, dear Lord, add a breath in here," Paslay says laughingly. "With 'Friday Night' and now 'High Class,' I'm just like, 'keep my shades on,' " he jokingly sings loudly before murmuring the next line of the song in the 45-second clip.

The first-time Grammy nominee just scored a 2016 nom in the best country duo/group performance category alongside Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Dierks Bentley for "The Driver."

The key to a fun show? "You just gotta have fun, cut loose and shake it where the music takes you."
