Grammys: Justin Bieber Joins James Corden for Red-Carpet Carpool Karaoke
Bieber helps Corden with his last-minute red carpet preparations.
Following up on a successful Super Bowl episode with Elton John, James Corden welcomed back two-time carpooler Justin Bieber for a special "Carpool Karaoke: Grammys Edition."
Bieber and Corden drove to the Grammys red carpet in the short CBS spot, which aired during the network's red-carpet preshow, while fitting in some last-minute preparations, like helping the late-night host with some moisturizing while they discuss their friendship (this is their third "Carpool Karaoke," so they finish each other's sentences now).
Corden aired the full clip of his and Bieber's music-filled car ride, embedded below, during Monday's Late Late Show, replacing his musings about going to the Grammys with heading to the Late Late Show and recapping the awards show with Bieber in such a vague way that it was clear the segment was pre-taped. (Their favorite part: When host LL Cool J licked his lips.)
The Late Late Show tweeted on Monday that the episode was originally going to feature a "Carpool Karaoke" with Sia, but because of time restrictions, it was moved to Tuesday's episode. The show teased that "an old friend" would help Corden get to work on Monday instead.
... You'll still get a taste of the carpool lane tonight when an old friend helps James get from @TheGRAMMYs to the studio.— The Late Late Show (@latelateshow) February 15, 2016
