Filmaka, the digital entertainment studio headed by former Fox Television Entertainment Group chairman Sandy Grushow, is working with Ford to help NBC's "Knight Rider" showcase the winners of the "Mustang Stories" short film competition, tied to the 2010's model release.

Winners Zack Resnicoff and Sonny Calderon will introduce a preview of their film in a 60- second spot during tonight's premiere of NBC's "Rider," whose co-star KITT also is a Ford Mustang. Ad agency JWT Team Detroit also is on board.

"This is the future in the way television and the Web and advertising all work together in a truly integrated fashion," Grushow said.(partialdiff)
