Gucci announced today that their take on 3D glasses—in development since September 2009—will be available in stores in December, according to AOL’s Stylelist.
Just in time for Hollywood’s 3D obsession (and the Dec.17 release of Tron), the unisex specs will be available at Gucci boutiques for $225.
The luxury brand’s cinema glasses will boast a “pilot-shaped plastic aviator in shiny black [which] features an eighties retro sensibility,” according to a release. “The lenses will contain a high-tech, multilayered mirrored coating which allows the wearer to view themselves in a mirror without distortion.”
Moviegoing never looked so good.
