Gwyneth Paltrow Named 'Most Beautiful Woman' by People Magazine
The glamorous "Iron Man 3" actress says at home with her family, she's "in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair."
People magazine has crowned Gwyneth Paltrow the "World's Most Beautiful Woman" for 2013, taking the top spot above other list-makers in the issue including Jennifer Lawrence, Kerry Washington and Drew Barrymore.
Last year, Paltrow's close friend Beyonce graced the "Most Beautiful" cover last year while Jennifer Lopez took the honor in 2011.
Paltrow, who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in Iron Man 3, out May 3, credits a high-intensity workout regimen (crafted by another of her friends, trainer-to-the-stars Tracy Anderson) for making her "look younger and feel strong." She tells the magazine: "When I first started, I thought, 'I'll never be good at this. This is a nightmare!' But now it's like brushing my teeth, I just do it."
Around the house and off the red carpet, Paltrow -- who's mom to 8-year-old Apple and 7-year-old Moses -- insists she's far from her glamorous, saying: "I'm in jeans and a T-shirt. I don't really wear makeup. That's what they're used to."
Of her husband Chris Martin, Paltrow says: "He'll make a joke about it. If I've gotten fully dressed up, he'll be like, 'Oh, wow! You're Gwyneth Paltrow!' Because he's used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair."
