Gwyneth Paltrow Named New Face of Coach

“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” she says.
Gwyneth Paltrow has yet another new job.
The cookbook author, Glee guest star and fledgling singer has signed on to be the face of Coach for its international campaign, which will celebrate the brand's 70th anniversary and will launch this spring.
“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” Paltrow tells WWD. “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
The Oscar winning actress -- who has also appeared in ads for Tod's and Christian Dior -- was photographed by Peter Lindbergh in Manhattan.
The print, digital and outdoor ads will run in select markets in Asia and Europe, including, France, Spain, the U.K., Portugal and China.
They'll first appear in September.
Coach president and creative director Reed Krakoff says Paltrow is "a natural choice.…She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand."
