H&M Plans Coachella Clothing Collection

Also for the second time, an H&M pop-up shop in the desert.

Coachella may be sold out, but pieces of it are available thanks to H&M which, for the second year in a row, is set to release a co-branded collection with the festival. The Swedish fast fashion chain announced that H&M Loves Coachella hits U.S. stores on March 24, with an online sneak-peek the previous day.

Like last year, the lineup takes inspiration from the now-iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Hippie road-trip vibes come through in folky blouses, beading, fringe, printed jumpsuits and the requisite denim cutoffs. Of course there are major accessory offerings, too. Expect floppy hats, booties and sunnies worthy of stalwarts like Vanessa Hudgens, Kate Bosworth and Alessandra Ambrosio. There are also pieces for guys: printed tees and shorts ranging from Bermuda to denim.

Said H&M designer Ross Lydon in a release: “We love Coachella because we enjoy its democratic spirit and the bonding experience it creates. To us, Coachella is about using fashion and music to express energy and that is what is reflected in this collection.” Those attending the fest who forgot something or simply have the urge to shop can also do so inside the H&M tent’s exclusive pop-up shop. To further promote #HMLovesCoachella, the retailer will be giving away festival and camping passes throughout March via social media.
