THR pays tribute to the original cast, including star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, as they perform together for one last time.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is giving his last performance on Broadway in Hamilton on Saturday night.

Miranda created the musical, which won 11 Tony Awards at last month's ceremony, including two for Miranda himself: for best book and score of a musical. (His longtime onstage alternate, Javier Munoz, is taking over the role.)

Hamilton has been the hottest show in town, with tickets at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York virtually sold out for months and resale tickets running upwards of $12,000 a seat.

Leslie Odom Jr. and Phillipa Soo also are exiting their roles as Aaron Burr and Eliza Schuyler, respectively.

Those still hoping to see Miranda play Alexander Hamilton live might still be able to someday. He told reporters after the Tony Awards: "I have written a role that I cannot age out of! I intend to drop in on this thing. I feel very lucky that I have built something that I can drop in on over and over again. … Flash forward to 20 years from now, you're going to be, like, 'Lin, when will you stop playing Hamilton?'"
