Super Bowl: 'Hamilton' Stars Perform "America the Beautiful"
Renee Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo and Jasmine Cephas Jones took the stage during the preshow.
Before the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots faced off on the field, Hamilton stars Renee Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo and Jasmine Cephas Jones kicked off Super Bowl LI with a performance of "America the Beautiful."
The three actresses, who played Eliza, Angelica and Peggy Schuyler in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit, dressed in coordinating black one-pieces as they belted the lyrics atop a red, white and blue platform.
Singing in harmony, Hamilton's Schuyler sisters garnered cheers from the NRG Stadium audience when they tweaked a key line in the song, crooning, "And crown thy good with brotherhood — and sisterhood — from sea to shining sea."
Miranda, in support of his Broadway teammates, called out the lyric change in a tweet upon watching the performance.

Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson and Ray Charles are among the artists who have kicked off the game with a performance of "America the Beautiful" in previous years.
Lady Gaga is headlining the halftime show, while Luke Bryan performed the national anthem.
