Handsome Mugshot Guy Covered By 'Today,' 'GMA' Pre-Show (Video)
NBC's and ABC’s morning news shows both devoted segments to the viral popularity of good-looking convicted felon Jeremy Meeks.
If looks could kill, more than 60,000 fans of this handsome criminal would be dead.
The mugshot of 30-year-old convicted felon Jeremy Meeks has gone viral, racking up more than 60,000 likes, 17,000 comments and 7,000 shares on Facebook since Northern California’s Stockton Police Department posted his photo on Wednesday.

Meeks’ popularity even prompted coverage from NBC’s Today and ABC’s pre-Good Morning America news program, America This Morning.
On Today, the anchors discussed the lustful comments being left under Meeks’ photo on Facebook, with Al Roker introducing the segment.
“Let me ask a question to some of the ladies out there: Do you find these qualities attractive — 30-year-old convicted felon who’s wanted on $900,000 bail? If you’re thinking ‘No way,’ let me tell you, Facebook disagrees,” Roker said.

After explaining how the violent criminal’s photo has gone viral, Tamron Hall looked uneasy as she recounted some of the Facebook comments, including “Is being that sexy illegal?” and “He can kidnap me any day.” Her fellow anchors groaned as she recounted the comments, but Savannah Guthrie was left speechless.
“I take the fifth,” she said, laughing. “I don’t even know what to say.”
America This Morning’s report was fairly straightforward, except for the ABC News show playing Eric Carmen’s “Hungry Eyes” as they showed Meeks’ photo and recounted his social-media popularity.

“This guy’s eyes, lips and chiseled face were a hit with the ladies, thousands of them, posting comments on Facebook and Twitter,” John Muller said.
Co-anchor Diana Perez added: “Maybe this could be the next Bachelor behind bars … it’s probably the best mugshot ever.”
