Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light has rounded out its cast, adding David Krumholtz, Josh Pais, James DuMont and Wrenn Schmidt.

The RatPac Entertainment and Bron Studios film will star Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen as the famed musician and his wife Audrey Mae Williams.

Marc Abraham is directing the film, and also wrote the screenplay based on Colin Escott’s biography. The pic will chronicle the life of country singer Williams, whose hits included  "Move It on Over," "Hey, Good Lookin'," and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." After his meteoric rise to fame, he struggled with alcohol and drug abuse in the later years of his all-too-brief career.

RatPac’s Brett Ratner and Bron Studios Aaron L. Gilbert are producing alongside G. Marq Roswell and Mark Abraham. James Packer will executive produce for RatPac, and Patty Long is the line producer/executive producer.

I Saw the Light will begin production this week in Louisiana.

Krumholtz, who can currently be seen in The Judge and starred on the TV series Numb3rs, plays James Dolan, a New York journalist who in the course of a tough interview with Williams finds himself toe-to-toe with the country legend. Krumholtz is repped by the Gersh Agency and Principato-Young.

Pais plays Dore Schary, one-time production president of MGM, who tries to convince Williams to be a movie star. Pais' previous work includes The Good Wife, Ray Donovan and Law & Order: SVU. He’s repped by Innovative Artists. Liebman Entertainment and Schreck Rose.

DuMont will play a music promoter and small-town mayor named WB Nolan who is forced to strong arm a performance out of the debilitated singer. The actor was most recently seen in Universal's James Brown biopic Get On Up, and previously appeared in When the Game Stands Tall and Dallas Buyers Club. He'll next be seen in Jurassic World, and Warner Bros.' Midnight Special opposite Michael Shannon. He's repped by Alta Entertainment and Open Range Management.

Schmidt's credits include popular TV series Boardwalk Empire and The Americans. She will play Bobbie Jett, one of the several women in Williams' life and the mother of his daughter born five days after his death. Schmidt is repped by ICM Partners, Davis Spylios Management and Peikoff Mahan Law Office.
