'Happy Feet Two' to Dance Onto 377 Imax Screens

Warner Bros. Pictures' 3D animated sequel will debut this Friday on 293 large format screens across North America, simultaneous with a wide release at the local multiplex.

TORONTO - Warner Bros. Pictures’ Happy Feet Two will open theatrically on 377 Imax screens this Friday.

'Happy Feet Two' Blue Carpet Premiere Arrivals

Toronto-based Imax on Monday said the sequel to the 2006 Happy Feet animated film will bow in 293 of its super-sized theaters domestically on November 18, alongside the film’s wide North American release.

The movie, with 3D Antarctic vistas and an ensemble voicing cast that includes Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Elijah Wood and Robin Williams, will also screen internationally in 84 Imax theaters.
