Hayley Williams of Paramore joins 'Muppets: The Green Album'

The singer will team up with Weezer for a new rendition of "The Rainbow Connection."

The new Muppet Movie, aptly titled The Muppets, boasts Amy Adams and Jason Segel in the leading (human) roles, in addition to a bevvy of star powered cameos. Similarly, Disney's upcoming musical project, "Muppets: The Green Album," is loading up on several impressive musicians to feature.

"Muppets: The Green Album" will be released on Aug. 23 featuring new recordings of several classic Muppet tunes. Perhaps most notably, Paramore's Hayley Williams joins Weezer in the studio to breathe new life into the Oscar-nominated ballad, "The Rainbow Connection."

Also expected to contribute to the album are The Fray, My Morning Jacket, Evanescence's Amy Lee and Matt Nathanson. Check out the complete track list below to see who will be singing what on the Muppet inspired album.
