Heather Locklear Hospitalized Following 911 Call
The former "Melrose Place" star was reportedly rushed to the hospital after her sister made emergency phone call.
Heather Locklear was hospitalized on Thursday, according to reports from TMZ.
The fire department and the Ventura County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call, reports the website. Her sister reportedly made the emergency phone call.
Paramedics determined that the actress needed to be hospitalized, and sources tell TMZ that it was due to a dangerous mix of drug prescriptions and alcohol.
Locklear’s rep did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Locklear was seen attending a Los Angeles Lakers game on Jan. 10.
In 2010, Locklear completed a 30 day rehab program for an addiction to prescription pills. She entered shortly after she was arrested for a mysterious hit-and-run in April, when a car registered to Locklear and her ex-husband Richie Sambora hit a No Parking sign near Heather's house in a gated community in Westlake Village, CA.
Locklear recently broke off her engagement to former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner. The duo, who started dating in 2007, announced their engagement in August.
It would have been the third marriage for Locklear, who was previously married to musicians Tommy Lee (they divorced in 1993) and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora (they split in 2006 and have a daughter, Ava, 14).
