Unlike past red-carpet looks, Helena Bonham Carter sported a more simple look at the Academy Awards on Sunday.
Asked about her look on E!'s red-carpet special, she told Ryan Seacrest, "I don't know. This is something I got together with costume designer Colleen Atwood."
Bonham Carter said she figured it would be "nice to celebrate film," not "fashion," so she enlisted Atwood (who designed the duds in Bonham Carter's Oscar-nominated flick Alice in Wonderland) to help with her red carpet dress.
The only downfall: She said she thought the dress might make her bum look "bigger."
