Helmer Dennis Dugan is set to reteam with frequent star Adam Sandler for Columbia Pictures' "You Don't Mess With the Zohan." Happy Madison is producing.

The film centers on a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hairstylist. Rob Schneider already has boarded the project as an East Yistannen cab driver (HR 3/12). Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Sandler penned the screenplay.

Dugan enjoys a long-standing relationship with Sandler and Happy Madison, having directed the Sandler starrers "Happy Gilmore" and "Big Daddy." He also helmed "Benchwarmers," which Happy Madison produced for Revolution Studios.

He most recently directed "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," which Sandler toplines. Sony will release the Happy Madison comedy in July.

Shooting for "Zohan" will begin in the summer in Los Angeles and New York. The studio is eyeing a summer 2008 release.

Dugan is repped by UTA, Management 360 and attorney Jason Sloane.
