'The Help': What Hollywood Is Saying About the Film

Actors, musicians and filmmakers expressed their thoughts on Tate Taylor's film.
The Help has been receiving favorable reviews from critics and moviegoers, and it turns out that actors and filmmakers agree. Hollywood took to Twitter after the film came out to praise the film, especially pointing out how successful the adaptation from the book by Katheryn Stockett has been.
The film, directed and written by Tate Taylor and starring Emma Stone Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard, received a rare A+ CinemaScore

Director/producer Ron Howard wrote, “A lot of my friends who have seen The Help assumed they'd respect it but are surprised how completely entertained they were by it.”
Before anyone could criticize him for being biased, Howard was very open about the fact that his daughter is in the film: “For those who don't know Bryce D Howard is my daughter. She is very proud to be a part of The Help."
Former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch actress Melissa Joan Hart wrote: “Just saw The Help and I have to tell all of you, it is such a wonderful movie. Best movie made from a book ever. Didn't miss a beat!”
