'Heroes,' 'Smallville' alums land pilots
Oded Fehr, Sam Neill also among slew of castingsTwo "Heroes" alums, Nick D'Agosto and Noah Gray-Cabey, have booked pilots, along with former "Smallville" star Michael Rosenbaum.
D'Agosto and Rosenbaum are set to star in NBC's untitled Justin Adler comedy, while Gray-Cabey will get to show off his musical talents in ABC's performance-arts drama "Limelight."
Also cast in "Limelight" are Oded Fehr, Kyle Riabko and Jessy Schram.
Additionally, Sam Neill has joined ABC's drama pilot "Happy Town," and Rochelle Aytes has been added to ABC's untitled Jerry Bruckheimer drama pilot.
The Adler project, from Sony/Tantamount, revolves around a grown-up family. D'Agosto will play the youngest sibling, who brings his girlfriend to meet the family.
Also showing a lighter side is former "Smallville" villain Rosenbaum, who will play the married middle sibling freaked out over his recently adopted baby.
WBTV/Wonderland's "Limelight" is a soap about the teachers and the students at a New York performing-arts academy.
Fehr, repped by IFA and Rain Management, will play the school's larger-than-life and overbearing artistic director.
Riabko, repped by CAA and Management 360, and Schram ("Life") will play aspiring young actors auditioning for the academy, and Gray-Cabey will play the school's music prodigy.
Schram and Gray-Cabey are managed by Kritzer/Levine/Wilkins.
On the murder-mystery "Town," from ABC Studios, "Jurassic Park" star Neill will play the owner of a movie-paraphernalia shop.
WBTV's untitled Jerry Bruckneimer project is a mystery show about amateur detectives led by a former cop (Rupert Penry-Jones). Aytes ("Drive") will play a police detective who slips the former cop and his team "Doe cases."
