Herriman in search mode for NBC pilot

Damon Herriman has joined the cast of NBC's drama pilot "Lost & Found," written by Chris Levinson and to be directed by Michael Engler.

The project, from Wolf Films and Universal Media Studios, centers on Tessa Cooper (Katee Sackhoff), an offbeat LAPD detective who, after butting heads with higher-ups, is sent as punishment to work on John and Jane Doe cases.

Herriman will play Anthony Yeckel, an oddball civilian consultant to the police's lost-and-found department who has an obsessive love of old detective TV shows.

Herriman, an Australian filmmaker, has appeared on several Aussie TV series, including "All Saints." In the U.S., he has guest-starred on CBS' "Cold Case" and "The Unit." (partialdiff)
