Hilary Duff Takes NYFW With Stylist Anita Patrickson
“I’ve been with Anita the whole time just, like, ‘I want that! I want that! I want that!’”
It’s been a minute since Hilary Duff has made the rounds at New York Fashion Week — but the Younger star is certainly making up for lost time this season.
It’s already four days into NYFW, but Duff has managed to stir a paparazzi frenzy at every show she’s attended: Zimmermann on Friday, Monique Lhuillier on Saturday and Jenny Packham on Sunday.
But while the cameras devour Duff’s pastel pink ‘do, stylist Anita Patrickson — who also works with Chrissy Teigen and Julianne Hough — has been standing by her side, taking in possible looks for Duff on the red carpets to come.
“I’ve been with Anita the whole time just, like, ‘I want that! I want that! I want that!’ ” Duff told Pret-a-Reporter moments before Packham’s show. “[I’m] just trying to take mental notes of everything but yeah, it’s been fun.”
As for her favorite looks, the 28-year-old recalled a particularly appealing look from Zimmermann: “Oh my gosh, there was a jumpsuit with one button and this amazing kind of olive-y green coat and the jumpsuit was kind of pink,” she enthused. “The colors were amazing.”

The pair was mum on what’s up next for Duff’s red-carpet moments (joked Patrickson, “We’ll have to see!”) but Duff added that the details usually don’t come together until right before big events: “You know everything that happens is so last minute — in my life and in the industry — so it’s always me like calling Anita, being like, ‘I need something!’”
