Hillary Clinton Responds to Age, Health Jabs During Diane Sawyer Interview (Video)
Hillary Clinton's took on attacks from Republican adversaries during an interview with ABC News' Diane Sawyer.
Sawyer asked the former secretary of state about a comment from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who recently quipped that the Democratic "presidential ticket for 2016 is shaping up to look like a rerun of the Golden Girls."
"That was a very popular, longrunning TV series," Clinton said.
She also responded to a comment from Republican strategist Karl Rove, who questioned whether Clinton sustained a “brain injury” during a 2012 concussion.
"I know he was called Bush's brain in one of the books written about him -- and I wish him well," Clinton said.
Clinton is on the promotional circuit for her new book Hard Choices, which hits stores Tuesday. Other stops include a June 17 sit-down with Fox News Channels' Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren. Her full interview with Sawyer airs June 9 at 9:00 p.m ET.
