Male presidential candidates are not generally peppered with questions about their suiting preferences or skincare routine but as a woman, Hillary Clinton is often subjected to these inquiries. At the White House Correspondents’ dinner, Cecily Strong even asked the media not to talk about her appearance this election cycle.
But during a Facebook Q&A on Monday, the candidate addressed a question about the “hair and makeup tax” imposed on high-powered women. The question came from a young professional woman who wanted to know how Clinton manages to get ready in the morning while focusing on the actual work she faces each day.

The former first lady’s response? Pure gold. "Amen, sister — you’re preaching to the choir," Clinton wrote. "It’s a daily challenge. I do the best I can — and as you may have noticed, some days are better than others! –H."
