Jay Leno to Auction Fiat 500 for Charity

Jay Leno's 2012 Fiat 500 will be auctioned off by Gooding & Co. at its Pebble Beach Auction on Aug. 18, with The Tonight Show host's proceeds going to the Fisher House Foundation. The nonprofit operates residences at military medical centers that offer a place for servicemen and women and their families to live while they receive medical care. Leno's Fiat 500 is No. 2 in a 500-car limited edition that honors the company's return to the U.S. in 2011. It's being offered without a reserve; Gooding, the official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, estimates the car could fetch as much as $35,000. Says Leno, "Hopefully some good Samaritan will pay way more than it's worth."
