The Hollywood Reporter Launches Exclusive 'Race to the Oscars' App
THR will provide all the best news, updates, photos, reactions and analysis related to the Academy Awards.
The Hollywood Reporter launched the ultimate Oscars app today, which will provide all the best news, updates, photos, reactions and analysis related to the Academy Awards. Available for free on iTunes, "Hollywood Reporter: Race to the Oscars" offers direct access to exclusive THR coverage of the year's best films, celebrities, music, makeup, fashion and more.
The app packages THR's on-the-ground coverage and Oscars analysis across five main sections: News; The Race Blog, featuring THR Awards Analyst Scott Feinberg; Nominees, offering a complete listing of the candidates; Events, with a countdown clock, and trivia game; and Twitter, an essential roundup of Tweets from nominees, presenters, past Academy winners and hosts.
"Race to the Oscars captures all the Oscar excitement, featuring the best content, coverage, photos, and breaking news right to users' iPhones or iPads," says THR Editorial Director Janice Min. "It's a must-have for any Oscar aficionado."
The Race to the Oscars® app will also allow users to read reviews of nominated films, get the most up-to-date info on the winners as they're revealed, and track Oscar buzz with THR Twitter and blog feeds.
