Hollywood Reporter Named Finalist for National Magazine Cover Award

The Kevin Hart cover from Jan. 23, 2015, is up against GQ, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone and The New York Times Magazine.

The Hollywood Reporter has been named a finalist for best cover by the American Society of Magazine Editors in the celebrity and entertainment category. 

The cover, headlined "The Reign of Kevin Hart" and featuring the actor donning a huge wig, appeared in the Jan. 23, 2015, issue of the weekly magazine. 

The other magazine finalists in the entertainment category include GQ's August issue for "Our Tastiest Comedy Issue Yet! Starring Amy Schumer," The New York Times Magazine's Oct. 11 issue "The Culture Issue [Nicki Minaj]," Rolling Stone's Nov. 19 issue "Adele: A Private Life" and Vanity Fair's July issue "Call Me Caitlyn."

Readers can vote for a favorite cover here until Jan. 26.
