Perry was forced to leave the stage while performing a cover of Spirit’s “I Got a Line on You” with the band during their performance at the Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn, N.Y. Fans and fellow artists tweeted their support for the 65-year-old Aerosmith guitarist, who is said to be in stable condition.
Although the band will perform on Tuesday night, they did cancel Monday night's scheduled performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
