THR to Unveil Hollywood's Top 25 Beauty Moments of the Year
From Anne Hathaway's pixie cut to Kristen Stewart's disheveled -- yet effortlessly cool -- updo, the stars and image-makers behind 2012's most influential red-carpet and onscreen looks.
2012 has been a year of big beauty news, from bangs to cat eyes to ombre-colored locks. To celebrate the artists behind those looks, The Hollywood Reporter is set to publish its list of the looks that have made the biggest impact on the red carpet and on the big and small screens this year. THR's feature story, "Hollywood's Top 25 Beauty Moments of 2012," will appear in the issue due out Wednesday, Nov. 14, featuring photo shoots of top stars with their trusted makeup artists and hairstylists.

We can't reveal the outcome until then, but we can say that the natural makeup looks of the stars of Downton Abbey and Kristen Stewart's "undone" updo at the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere -- not to mention the shocking pixie haircut of the formerly long-haired Anne Hathaway for Les Miserables -- are definitely moments we consider both iconic and influential.
Also on Nov. 14, THR will host an intimate issue-release luncheon at the Chateau Marmont penthouse to honor these hair and makeup image-makers. The lunch has been sponsored by three major beauty brands behind some of Hollywood's most alluring looks: St Tropez skin finishing products, M.A.C Makeup Artists Cosmetics and Ojon hair products.
STORY: High-Def Makeup for Every Day
THR helped put celebrity stylists on the map with its celebrity stylist power issue in mid March – now it's doing the same for the amazing Hollywood hair and makeup artists who influence beauty trends across the globe.
