Q4 DVD EXPANDS

The inventory of likely fourth-quarter home video releases has grown to include 18 theatrical features with grosses of at least $25 million. Among them are two films that have made more than $300 million, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Iron Man"; one with a gross in excess of $200 million, "Kung Fu Panda"; and eight others that have generated at least $100 million in ticket sales. Observers expect "The Dark Knight," which many predict will be the year's No. 1 film, to be a last-minute entry into the crowded Q4 DVD derby.

'NIXON' ON DIS' TICKET

With the presidential election looming, Disney is prepping a two-disc special edition of Oliver Stone's "Nixon" for an Aug. 19 release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. "Nixon: The Election Year Edition" also includes "Beyond Nixon," a new documentary chronicling Richard Nixon's rise and fall.
