'Addams' bows

The complete-series juggernaut continues to roll. MGM Home Entertainment is preparing a special gift set of the saucy monster comedy TV series "The Addams Family" for a Nov. 13 DVD release. The $70 collection, consisting of nine discs, will contain all 64 episodes of the show, which ran from 1964-66, as well as such extras as on-camera interviews with star John Astin, still galleries with original drawings and photographs as well as a karaoke version of the theme song.

Freakin' sweet DVD

Also coming to stores in complete-series form: "Family Guy: Freakin' Party Pack," an 18-disc set 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing Oct. 30 that includes more than 90 episodes, the direct-to-video feature offshoot "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" as well as a bonus disc with deleted scenes, interviews and new featurettes.

Trio honored

Warner Home Video president Ron Sanders, Shout! Factory CEO Richard Foos and publicist Vicki Greenleaf are the home entertainment industry "visionary honorees" at this year's Entertainment AIDS Alliance ceremony, set for Sept. 27 at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. They are being honored for their work with and donations to the nonprofit organization, which helps supports charities connected with the fight against AIDS.
