Hong Kong's Celestial Tiger Signs Exclusive Output Deals With Mega-Vision, Universe

Upcoming releases from the studios includes Chow Yun-fat vehicle "From Vegas to Macau" and Asia's first 3D disaster film "Out of Inferno."

HONG KONG – Celestial Tiger Entertainment has inked exclusive output deals with Hong Kong studios Mega-Vision Project Workshop and Universe Entertainment for CTE’s Chinese movie channel Celestial Movies in Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia.

The deals include exclusive first-run pay TV rights, pay-per-view and video-on-demand rights of all upcoming movies from the two studios.

Recent and upcoming releases from Mega-Vision Project Workshop, founded by veteran hit-making producer Wong Jing, includes Young and Dangerous Reloaded, a reboot of the classic gangster franchise; comedies Princess and Seven Kung Fu Master; and Mr. & Mrs. Player, and the casino drama From Vegas to Macau, starring Chow Yun-fat and Nicholas Tse

Universe's upcoming releases include the Pang brothers-directed Out of Inferno 3D, the first 3D disaster film in Asia, and actioner The White Storm, directed by Benny Chan and starring Sean Lau, Louis Koo and Nick Cheung.

Celestial Movies has ongoing exclusive output deals with Hong Kong studios, including Media Asia Distribution, Emperor Motion Pictures and Distribution Worksop in Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. The channel shows more than 400 movies a year with localized subtitles.
