Horipro celebrates 50 years with horror thriller
Agency's roster will fill out director Hideo Nakata's filmTOKYO -- Talent agency Horipro is to celebrate 50 years in the business with a thriller directed by horror master Hideo Nakata (“The Ring”) and a cast drawn entirely from the agency’s roster.
Eight of the all-star ensemble for “The Incite Mill” -- based on a 2007 novel -- have already been
decided, and include Nagisa Katahira, Tatsuya Fujiwara and Tsuyoshi Abe.
In addition to one more Horipro star, the agency will cast a new face chosen at auditions to be held on January 31.
The agency celebrated its 40th anniversary with two movies but this will be the first to have an all-Horipro cast.
Filming is due to start in March, with an autumn release planned.
