Jon Reyman of Spoke & Weal salon breaks down two standout looks from Tuesday's show.

This year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists included a group of ten very talented, very diverse designers, and the beauty looks they showcased when they presented their collections at the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday afternoon were just as edgy as the clothes themselves.

From '70s French girl waves (as seen on CG's models) to perfectly messy updos (as seen on Jonathan Simkhai's models), the fashion crowd — which included Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Lily Collins — was kept entertained. Here, Spoke & Weal's Jon Reyman (the mastermind behind the enviable hair looks) breaks them down.

1. CG's Cool Waves (above)

To achieve the glam waves of CG's '70s French girl, Reyman blow dried the hair after applying plenty of Aveda Thickening Tonic. Next, he curled the hair with a flat-barrel curling iron. To set the waves, he spritzed the hair with Aveda Control Force hairspray and pinned them up. Once cool, he removed the pins, brushed out the hair, and voila — Brigitte Bardot-chic. (Cool-girl beret optional.)

2. Jonathan Simkhai's Messy Bun

For the effortless messy bun seen on Jonathan Simkhai's models, Reyman first created a beachy texture by applying Aveda Pure Abundance to prep the hair before blowing it dry. Next, he gathered the hair into a ponytail and loosely wrapped it to create the purposely disheveled look. Finally, Reyman pulled some hair out for the "fly away effect" and suggested adding flowers or another hair accessory. Personally, we're fans of the barbed wire headband.
