LONDON - The Huffington Post is coming to Britain later this summer as part of a wider international rollout that will include launches in France and Brazil.

The blogsite, recently acquired for $315 million by AOL, already has a million users in the U.K. HuffPo UK will launch as a localized homepage focused on more British content - mostly from unpaid bloggers, as in the U.S.

Founder Arianna Huffington and AOL CEO Tom Armstrong told a media conference in London that they planned to tap the global market.

"The U.S. represents only 4 percent of the world' population," Armstrong said.
