Twitter's reaction to the verdict was ... colorful.

When a former professional wrestler takes on a popular gossip site over a sex tape, people take notice.

On Friday, a Florida jury turned in a $115 million verdict against Gawker over its 2012 posting of a Hulk Hogan sex tape. Within seconds of the jury's verdict in favor of Hogan, a flurry of people turned to social media to share their reactions — some of which were a little too colorful to share.

Some tweets were silly.

Others were animated, literally.

And others weighed in on the journalism at hand.

Hours before his win was announced, Hogan himself even weighed in on Twitter. "Thank u GOD. HH," he first tweeted early Friday morning, followed six hours later with, "Praying HH."

Following his victory, the former pro wrestler shared his sentiments with his social media followers: "Thank you God for justice, only love 4Life. HH."
