Hulu Names Disney Exec Elaine Paul CFO
Tom Fuelling will be departing the company.
Elaine Paul, senior vp corporate strategy at The Walt Disney Company, has been named CFO at Hulu, newly announced CEO Mike Hopkins wrote in a blog post on Friday.
"I've known Elaine for many years, and I can tell you she is one of the most tenacious, disciplined and passionate executives I have ever worked with," Hopkins wrote. "Elaine is no stranger to Hulu. In fact, Elaine was involved in Disney's original investment in Hulu back in 2009 and has played a continuing role through her work at Disney on their corporate strategy team."

She will start in her new position on Monday. Tom Fuelling, the current CFO at Hulu, will be departing the company.
Hopkins, formerly president of distribution for Fox Networks Group, officially joined the streaming-media company last week, replacing acting CEO Andy Forssell.
Hulu, jointly owned by Disney, NBCUniversal and 21st Century Fox, was taken off the auction block in July. Its owners pledged to invest $750 million in new funding to continue developing the property.
