'The Hunger Games' to Return to Imax Screens

The giant screen exhibitor plans a one-week return engagement from April 27 after an original one-week run for the Lionsgate tentpole pulled in $13.2 million on 289 screens from March 23.
TORONTO - Lionsgate's The Hunger Games is returning to select Imax theaters for one week from April 27.
The giant screen exhibitor earlier pulled in $13.2 million from the teen tentpole’s original one week run on 289 Imax screens from March 23.
Now a digitally re-mastered version of The Hunger Games will play in more than 100 Imax digital theatres across North America as part of a special return engagement through May 3.
Fans of the popular Suzanne Collins book series have helped The Hunger Games gross over $533 million globally since its launch in March.
