Hyde Park's 'Line' rings for Metcalfe

Jesse Metcalfe is dialed in to star in "Other End of the Line," a romantic comedy from Hyde Park being directed by Clare Kilner.

The story follows an advertising exec (Metcalfe) who falls for a customer-service representative working at a call center in India while discussing the details of his stolen credit card. The two decide to meet in San Francisco, though problems arise when it is revealed that the woman, who pretends to be an American to her callers, has an arranged marriage set to take place in a few weeks.

Hyde Park's Ashok Amritraj is producing. MGM is distributing.

Filming is scheduled for June.

Kilner, repped by Gersh, directed the romantic comedy "The Wedding Date."

Metcalfe, best known for his work as the pool boy in "Desperate Housewives," starred in "John Tucker Must Die" and next stars in the horror movie "Town Creek." He is repped by Endeavor and Untitled.
