Idris Elba to Host Dramaville Block on BBC America

The “Luther” star will also produce Dramaville, which launches Aug. 17 at 10 p.m.
Luther star Idris Elba will host the weekly, hourlong Dramaville block on BBC America, which launches Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. beginning with the six-part 1950s espionage thriller The Hour.
Elba will also serve as a producer of Dramaville through Headshell Productions.
Following six weeks of The Hour, Luther follows with its second season, premiering Oct. 5 at 10 p.m.
Six-part contemporary crime thriller Whitechapel will then take over beginning Nov. 2 at 10 p.m.
