Idris Elba Is Wearing Tom Ford on the Met Gala 2016 Red Carpet
The gala's co-chair was lookin' extra dapper on the red carpet.
Idris Elba stepped out in a Tom Ford tux at Monday night's Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This year's theme celebrates the Costume Institute's new exhibition "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology."
Not only is Elba co-chairing the event with Taylor Swift, Jonathan Ive and Anna Wintour, he's also making his red-carpet debut for the annual fashion soiree this year. Given his suave sense of style, the actor had no trouble dressing up for the white-tie occasion.
Elba was recently cast in Guerrilla, a six-episode limited series set to air on Showtime. He also is featured on the single "Dance Off" from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' new album, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, which dropped Feb. 26.
