Iggy Azalea Slams Papa John's for Letting Drivers Give Out Her Number
The rapper isn't happy with her formerly favorite pizza chain.
Even if you're fancy, you still want to be able to order pizza in peace.
Iggy Azalea started off her Grammy Sunday in an inauspicious way, slamming Papa John's on Twitter after a delivery person employed by the pizza chain supposedly gave her cell number to other people.
"Papa John's was my favorite pizza, but the drivers they use give out your personal phone number to their family members," the rapper wrote Sunday. "And the supervisors at Papa John's refuse to send pictures of their employees so you can identify who it is that steals your information."
Azalea said that when she asked to see a photo of their drivers to identify the one responsible, the chain told her it wouldn't do so to protect drivers' privacy. "Too bad they don't value the privacy of their customers also. #DamnShame," she added.
The rapper posted a screen grab to Twitter of a text she apparently received from the pizza delivery person's sister, who claimed to be Azalea's "number one fan." That tweet has since been deleted.

Papa John's has issued an apology from its Twitter page. "We should have known better," the pizzeria wrote. "Customer and employee privacy is important to us. Please don't bounce us!"
