iHeartRadio Listeners: Jack Black Should Be Stephen Colbert Bandleader
If iHeartRadio listeners had their way, Jack Black would be Stephen Colbert’s bandleader when the comic takes over the Late Show from David Letterman next year.
More than a quarter of those polled, 26.3 percent chose Black over Pharrell Williams (19.5 percent), Paul Shaffer (19.3 percent), Alicia Keys (13.3 percent), Ben Folds (9.3 percent), Jack White (7.4 percent) and Sara Bareilles (4.9 percent).

Bareilles may have trailed in the voting to succeed Paul Shaffer, but she topped the poll in the question, “Whose Beyonce cover was best?” -- 31.3 percent with "Single Ladies." That beat out Florence + the Machine's “Halo” (25.5 percent), Ed Sheeran’s “Drunk in Love” (21.5 percent), John Mayer’s “XO” (17.7 percent) and Haim’s “XO” (4.1 percent) to get the nod.
The smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past was the leader for “Which potential 2014 summer blockbuster will be the biggest hit?" Garnering 26.1 percent of the total, it was trailed by Transformers: Age of Extinction (20.2 percent), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (18.9 percent), Godzilla (18.2 percent), How to Train Your Dragon 2 (9.4 percent) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (7.3 percent). X-Men, Spider-Man and Godzilla already have opened to big box-office returns; the entire group consistes of either sequels or remakes of previous films.
