iHeartRadio Music Awards: Taylor Swift Wins Best Tour Award, Thanks Boyfriend Calvin Harris
Justin Timberlake presented Swift with the award.
Accepting the best tour award from presenter Justin Timberlake during the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday, Taylor Swift thanked a number of the 48 artists, as well as boyfriend Calvin Harris, that joined her on her "1989 World Tour" last year, including fellow nominees Fetty Wap and Selena Gomez.
"Some people are out here to build walls — not naming any names," Timberlake joked to the crowd at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., as he introduced Swift, eliciting groans from the audience. "Oh, shut up. You're not even old enough to vote," the singer quipped before adding, "Taylor chooses to bring down walls."
Swift is the first performer to receive the award for best tour from iHeartRadio as this was the first year it was presented.
"I think my favorite part was the camaraderie of all the artists," she said during her acceptance speech. "I'm so thankful to everyone who donated their time to surprise my crowds."
Swift also thanked boyfriend Calvin Harris, who earlier in the evening won the award for dance artist of the year. "I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and the crowds were all gone, so I want to thank my boyfriend Adam," she said, citing Harris' real name, Adam Wiles.
