New Film and Entertainment PR Firm Launches in France
Former Moteur! publicists Gregory Malheiro and Nicolas Hoyet branch out to form their own shingle that will handle public relations for French films, talents, TV shows and theater productions.
They are PR. Gregory Malheiro and Nicolas Hoyet, former execs at French publicity firm Moteur!, have just launched their own shingle, I-MPR, that will handle public relations for French films, talents, TV shows and theater productions.
I-MPR stands for "Image Message Public Relations" and is meant to read "I am PR."
The duo will handle PR for upcoming French films Stephane Cazas’ Ombline in September, Frederic Forestier’s Stars 80 in October, Geraldine Nakache and Herve Mimran’s Nous York and Regis Roinsard’s Populaire in November and Clement Michel’s La Strategie de la Poussette later in the year.
The company will also handle PR for films from the production stage including shoots for Ruben Alves’ La Cage Doree and Anthony Marciano’s Gamins and will handle talent publicity in France for actors Raphael Personnaz, Edgar Ramirez and Mouloud Achour. I-MPR will also rep TV show La Nuit Nous Appartient on NRJ12 cable network and several theatrical productions and comedy shows.
Malheiro and Hoyet will stick to their own turf with French fare for the time being, but may be swayed abroad since some of their talents like Ramirez or Personnaz have begun international careers.
"I'm very happy to start this new adventure with Greg and we’re going to do our best to value our clients who come from several different horizons and diverse activities," Hoyet told The Hollywood Reporter.
Said Malheiro: "There's a new generation in the film industry that we hope to defend and accompany with an adapted strategy, notably thanks to new communication tools."
I-MPR’s office is located in Paris’ 9th arrondissement.
