Fox Sports' Skip Bayless, Colin Cowherd Support Jamie Horowitz's Veterans Fundraiser
The evening, hosted by the Fox Sports 1 president and his wife, Kara, benefited IAVA's veterans' advocacy and services.
Fox Sports 1 president Jamie Horowitz and his wife, Kara, hosted a fundraiser for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) organization on Friday evening at their Pacific Palisades home.
The exclusive event featured 150 guests, many who were IAVA members, as well as industry execs such as UTA’s Matt Rice and Geoff Suddelston, CAA’s Nick Khan and Ted Miller, WME's Josh Pyatt and HBO’s Peter Nelson. The Fox Sports team came out in full support as well, with executives Charlie Dixon and Whit Albohm also in attendance. The highlight of the night, however, was a sports-themed panel with FS1 stars Skip Bayless, Colin Cowherd and Shannon Sharpe, moderated by Horowitz and his 8-year-old son, Jake. All proceeds from the evening benefited IAVA and its veterans' services.
IAVA was founded in 2004 and is currently one of the leading organizations whose mission is to provide post-9/11 veterans with tools they need to connect and feel empowered. IAVA has connected more than 1.2 million veterans with resources and community, and provided more than 7,300 veterans with personalized support from social workers.
