International Documentary Association Names Carrie Lozano Director of New Fund
Fund-backed production grants will be awarded up to $100,000 and development grants up to $15,000.
The International Documentary Association on Monday tapped Carrie Lozano as director of the newly created Enterprise Documentary Fund.
The new fund was created with major support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and will provide $4 million over the next 4 years to assist in the production and development of feature-length documentary films.
Production grants will be awarded up to $100,000 and development grants up to $15,000.
Lozano has acted as senior producer of the Al Jazeera America's Peabody-winning investigative series Fault Line. She also produced the Academy Award-nominated The Weather Underground.
The first deadline for an Enterprise Documentary Fund production grant is May 26.
