The Internet Was Having Issues Friday Morning
Websites affected included Twitter, Netflix, Spotify, Reddit, Etsy and SoundCloud.
Nope, it wasn't just your computer or phone.
There were outages and glitches with multiple major websites Friday morning, including Twitter, Netflix, Spotify, Reddit, Etsy, SoundCloud and others, according to The New York Times.
The Times' site also experienced problems.
Dyn, a major domain host that monitors and reroutes internet traffic, said it began experiencing an attack just after 7 a.m., ET Friday, according to The Times. By 9:30 a.m., ET Dyn said in a statement that service had been “restored to normal.”
Whatever the domain host experienced affected mostly users on the East Coast, The Times reported.
No additional information on the incident was immediately available.
