O'Donnell, McBrayer cast in 'Cats & Dogs' sequel for Warners, Roadshow

Chris O'Donnell and Jack McBrayer are the live-action stars of Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow's "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore," directed by Brad Peyton.

Andrew Lazar is producing the CGI-blended movie via his Mad Chance banner with former Warner Independent head Polly Cohen.

The sequel to 2001's "Cats & Dogs" continues the story of the animals' battle for control of Earth. Ron Friedman and Steve Bencich wrote the script.

The movie marks the feature debut of Peyton, who made waves at the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival with his short, "Evelyn: The Cutest Dead Girl."

The live-action portions of the film are in production in Vancouver, with voice casting to come.

O'Donnell, repped by Endeavor and Untitled, next appears in "Max Payne."

UTA-repped McBrayer is best known for playing Kenneth the page on NBC's "30 Rock."

Peyton is repped by Endeavor. The writers are repped by APA and the Gotham Group. (partialdiff)
