Fledgling studio Summit Entertainment has hired Andi Isaacs to oversee the physical production of all in-house film productions, COO Bob Hayward said Thursday.

Isaacs comes from Walt Disney Pictures, where she was a production executive from 2004-06. Before that, she freelanced in different areas of domestic and international production. Her work includes "National Treasure," "Someone Like You," "The Pacifier" and "There's Something About Mary."

"Andi is a great fit for us here at Summit," Hayward said. "She has extensive knowledge of film production and a great ability to head off problems before they occur."

Launched in April 2007, Summit has two movies in production: "Get Some," directed by Jeff Wadlow, and "Step Up 2 the Streets," directed by Jon Chu.
